Welcome to Lanark County
Maple Syrup Capital of Ontario

There are many things to see and do for tourists visiting Lanark
County. Even though we are located on the western boundary
of Ottawa along Highway 7, we are a world away.

During your visit to our rural County, you will have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities along our waterways, to visit one of our historic towns and villages, or to research your family tree. We can provide a road map if you are looking to tour our back roads. Stay overnight and shop at one ofthe many unique stores throughout the County, visit a local artist or a museum.

Our rural experience will leave you, your family, and your friends, with many life-long memories of the people and places you visited. You will return home feeling revived and with a lot of stories, because in Lanark County - We Have a Story to Tell!
